Raised in a small village in the Swiss canton of Aargau and now based in Zurich, SHELLY is an emerging Swiss artist blending english Pop, R&B and experimental influences into a sound that shifts between vulnerability and attitude. Inspired by the music she grew up with from Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Britney Spears to Aerosmith her artistry combines infectious melodies, raw emotion and a subtle Y2K edge.

From an early age feeling "different" became a quiet constant throughout her life. For her, it felt rare to meet people who seemed to operate on the same frequency, as she like to call it, and have connections that required no explanation.
In her solitude she searched for answers - not understanding why she's sensing emotions more deeply, almost brutally while questioning the world around her and struggling to find a place where she truly belonged.

 

This is when she began creating a world of her own, escaping into her vivid fantasy that eventually found its way onto paper and into her songs.

Music became a place where emotions no longer needed to be explained and where people could recognize themselves in the same story.


That pursuit of genuine connection continues to shape her sound today. More than anything, her goal is to create a family, a community - a space where people feel understood.. because sometimes, a single song is enough to remind someone that they were never alone in what they felt.
